Good staff, they were very accommodating. The first room we were in smelled really bad from the drain. We were able to change to another room with no problems. Basic facilities. Breakfast and lunch options available are handy if you are on the go. kelly, from England ~ 16th Nov 2009

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. The staff was very friendly. The gave me free pick up and delivery to petra. I was also given welcome drink at arrival and they tell you how to visit Petra. Very highly reccomended for everyone going to visit petra Carmen, from Colombia ~ 5th Oct 2009

Petra Gate is fantastic! For someone who doesn't really mind cheaper conditions, but is looking for an AWESOME staff who are amazingly friendly and helpful, this is the place! The rooms were pretty nice (stayed in a double) except for the small bathroom/shower without a door. But again, if you don't require luxery, this place is perfect. Not far from the entrance to Petra, and close to good restaurants. Nice city, nice place. Very recommended. Matthew, from USA ~ 17th Jul 2009

This was an excellent Hostel. Friendly and helpfull owner and staff. Excellent location for visiting Petra. Views from the bedrooms are stunning and overlook Wadi Musa and Petra itself. They are in the process of major refurbishment, which should be finished by the end of July 2009. Good atmosphere for the single traveller or the more mature couple who like a bit of adventure.
