Phil Guesthouse in Koh Phangan, South Korea

The owner (Leo) is very friendly and completely goes out of his way to accommodate you. His staff are also friendly and very helpful. The facilities are brand new (it opened 4 months ago), spacious with lots of amenities you would expect from a mid-high class hotel, not a guesthouse. The nearest subway stop is a short 2-3 min walk. The only problem is the subway station is quite far from major touristy spots such as the Seoul city center. This was fine for me since I like peace and quiet. Joseph, from Australia ~ 27th Mar 2012

I really enjoyed my stay at Phil Guesthouse. Phil Guest house is very easy to find, clean, full facility, and the staff is helpful and nice.I Love Phil Kitchen, because everyone may used it freely. Nice place, good price, easy to find right off of Achasan metro stop. 24 Hour convenience store and friendly, helpful staff, wifi, coffee and tea available all day. Warm rooms but cold lobby (in February). Enclosed showers would be a nice touch. Wesley C, from USA ~ 16th Feb 2012

It was my first trip to Seoul to spend a new year's there. I found this hostel is worth the money. The building is new, the owner and staffs are friendly. For the room itself, I stay in a dorm and the facilities there is excellent. Warm room, good internet connection, and clean toilet made my trip enjoyable. I definitely recommend this place!
