Phuoc An Hotel was pretty great. Only $27 a night for a huge king size bed. Air conditioning was weak, the pool sucks, and the staff kind of pushes you to use them for taxi services and getaways. The bed is pretty average. When they changed my sheets, they didn't change the fitted sheet. However, the location is great, the rooftop amazing, the price is cheap, the internet works great, the breakfast is good, and right across the street you can rent mopeds for $5/day! Great hotel. Very popular as well. Our room wasn't a deluxe room, just a usual twin private and it was great. Modern, clean, good wifi connection. There were complimentary tea and coffee sachets too, was great. They have bicycle hire as well, I think it's free, but I wasn't game enough. The breakfast was delicious! They had a lady making personalised omelettes and pancakes. They had regular bread (from a loaf!) jam, fruit, tea and coffee. Was really good. Anasha, from Australia ~ 13th Jan 2012

Everything was perfect. The room was amazing, the breakfast enjoyable. The staff extremely helpful. We used their attached tailoring company service. The tailors are slightly more expensive but the quality is worth the extra cost(s). The cut/fit of my suit is amazing, and was done in 2 fittings. Amazing TV, airconditioning, lighting, shower/bathroom. Daily fresh/free fruit and water. Free bikes to ride also (10km round trip ride to the beach). Cafe 43 next door is a MUST!!! There is not much to complain about this hotel. Staff is nice. Breakfast was one of the better ones we had in Vietnam. The room seemed a little bit old but still pretty big compared to others. Wifi didn't work in our room and we had to use the wifi from the hotel next door. Booked a tour with them and everything was fine. The guide was hilarious! Toni, from USA ~ 25th Jul 2011
