Fantastic location!!! Locks in the room were very small and a standard lock would not work. You had to have a tiny lock. The staff was nice. The bathrooms could use a bit of revamping. For the price, it is a good value. Lots of nightlife and fun gay bars located just down the street. John (Jack), from USA ~ 5th Oct 2009

Room cleanliness was OK, but the male toilets and bath on 7th floor was just about acceptable. The technical installations on said toilet and bath was in very poor condition - no working locker, flush not working, water from bath flows all over the floor. No hot water on "Unisex" bath. In my opinion the hostel is a good site to stay because it has a good location in the middle of London. But I think that it needs a reformation because of its appearance. I know backpackers hostel is the typical and tradicional type of hostel in wich I've stayed when I was youger, but I've stayed at other hostels and some includes toilet at the rooms and all includes breakfast in the prize; So I think that it needs a reformation. That's all, anyway I recommend that hostel. JULIO, from Spain ~ 14th Sep 2009

The location of this hostel is great--it's walking distance to almost everything, but it's skeezy and poorly run. The beds look dirty, and some of them are literally on the floor to fit three levels of bunking. There is minimal cleaning, and the staff is lazy and clueless. People threw up in the halls, the staff was notified, and nevertheless the vomit sat all night. There were never bed linens or towels, because their cleaners never bring the delivery on time, and the staff was rude. Joseph, from USA ~ 15th Aug 2009

While I rarely stay in hostels due to the conditions, this one was alright. Unfortunately it only WAS alright as after a few days the only elavator / lift stopped working and the main men's toilets and showers on the 6th floor have been out of order for several days and we have to use the small toilets room which has a very musty and unpleasant odour. This has been the case for several days and for some reason neither proplem has been fixed yet. While the working staff are very helpful and in Andrew, from Canada ~ 4th Aug 2009

the staff was rude and useless. The rooms and bathrooms were smelly and dirty. We left our luggage in the luggage room and they broke one of our suitcases and denied it. WORSE HOSTEL EVER BEEN Maria Cecilia, from Chile ~ 31st Jul 2009

I caught scabies from the mattress here. The bathrooms are dirty and the staff isn't very helpful checking in, but the location is really good. Austin, from USA ~ 10th Jul 2009

A pretty standard hostel; you get what you pay for. However, with such an awesome location, you probably won't be spending much time in the room! Excellent location! They charge alot for things like towels and internet, though, which is kind of a pain. Amelia, from USA ~ 5th Jul 2009

The room was very very small. There was no hot water on the 7th floor and we had to go downstairs. That was very uncomfartable. For 80-Euro-night in doubleroom we expected more. Maria, from Bulgaria ~ 29th Jun 2009
