  • We had the most fantastic welcome by the staff. After a really long tiring flight it was great to see such a lovely smiling face. The room was clean and the bed great. No problem with sharing a bathroom, we only saw 1 person in the bathroom in the 3 days we were there. The owners were away when we were there so it is a testament to the place that the staff made us feel so welcome.

  • Nice little hostel in a central area of London, close to the British museum and underground. Great value for the location. Stayed in a three bed room, building is older but the room was clean and warm. Shared bathroom with two showers, although we could only get one to work during our stay. Simple continental breakfast provided. Hosts were friendly.

  • The staff was not around or available. Hours for breakfast and checkout weren't posted or included in the confirmation email. The private room was a little overpriced for what we got. A lot of the lights in the room weren't working and the toilet handle wasn't working. It's a fine place to stay, but the staff is not warm and fuzzy or particularly available.

  • Everything about Pickwick Hall was amyzing! Kind staff who made us a personalized "how-to-get-here"-description and they were always helpful and found an answer for everything. Location was perfect as well and a lot of places were in walking distance and yet it was a very quiet street (perfect at night time!). It was clean, safe and there was a very cozy and indeed relaxing atmosphere. All in all it really is good value for money and I would recommend this place any time!

SCONSIGLIATO.

  • Conveniently located right around the corner from the British Museum, Pickwick Hostel was an amazing place to stay for my first time in London. It felt very safe and the staff was super welcoming. I stayed in a female dorm and the facilities were clean, spacious, and of good quality.

  • Nice hostel. Great location and not too expensive, that's why we chose it. Friendly staff and no problems with the room or anything else. If you want to spend a lot of your time at the hostel, I wouldn't choose that one, but for having a place to sleep it's just right.

  • Good location and short distance with the metro station. Staffs are nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and it's very nice to have the kitchen and all utensils needed. Worthy for staying.

  • Room was very clean, shared bathroom/shower was not. Using the wet bath mat of the person before you is not pleasant. Also, the two shower stalls are in the same room as the two toilet stalls. You could be showering while a stranger next to you is relieving themselves. Lovely street, close to Russell Square Underground station.

  • Great place in a great location. For the money, this was a fantastic deal, only cost a few quid more than some nightmarish sounding places with 26 bed dorms! They let me leave my stuff here all day whilst I went around London. Comfy, clean beds and a decent simple breakfast. Would stay again!
