The bathrooms were too nice and the kitchen was kinda nasty cuz nody did their dishes but it was really fun and the staff was super nice! The beds were comfortable too!

The place was well situated beside the tram, fitzroy street and st kilda. Had a great time and was well taken care of. Craic was approximately 92, and the backpacker meal was sweet as the preverbial nut.

The hostel is a minute from the tram stop so great location, the room was cosy, 6 dollar dinners excellant value and there are good events on in the bar during the week - i even stayed a second week although was charged more than the first week which wasnt clear at the time and didnt seem to make sense

The Hostel can get quite noisy when people are having a party in the tv room. If you are looking for a cheap and okay Hostel with inexpensive food ($6-backpacker meals) that is just a short distance to the city - this is the right hostel for you.

Hard to find at first, but a good place to stay. I'd heartily recommend a pint of their very own beer (called Pint on Punt) - only $4 and tasty.
