I was only there for the night before going to Macchu Picchu, but the room was was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and provided info regarding Macchu Picchu. I would easily stay there longer if I had more time. Maria Thereza, from Brazil ~ 2nd Feb 2012

Aguas Calientes is so small there's no such thing as a poorly located hostel! Best part of this basic hostel: the friendly, helpful staff. They realize you're only there to go to Machu Picchu early in the morning and they do their best to help you out. Breakfast starts at 4:30am! No lockers in the rooms but very good lockers in the storage room. A nice family atmosphere, good for relaxing. Worth staying for the help you get from the staff. Kevin, from Canada ~ 1st Nov 2011

Great spot to relax after hiking Inka trail. Also only 5 min away from the hot springs. Manager allowed for a later check out time as well. Good breakfast. Naomi/Raouf, from USA ~ 7th Oct 2011

Clean. Hot showers. A bit of a hike, but to those who are here for Machu Pichu, think of it as a warm up. elliot, from USA ~ 27th Sep 2011

They serve breakfast from 4-8 am so if you want to catch the first bus to Machu Picchu you still can have breakfast. Susan, from Netherlands ~ 31st Aug 2011

Nice enough hostel, cheap and very pleasant staff... HOTTEST MOST POWERFUL SHOWER on ground floor ever experienced! Hostel felt a bit bare for my liking, lacks pictures, objects, infomation desk, only one computer etc. Comfy, warm bed meant I had a nice stay... recommended Benjamin, from England ~ 20th Aug 2011

We only stayed there for about 10 hours to ensure that we could be first in line for Machu Picchu. It was adequate. I wouldn't stay here longer than necessary since there's nothing to do in Aguas Calientes. Meghan, from USA ~ 29th Aug 2011
