close to the city, only a twenty minute walk... nice view from bar/restaurant.... the bar closed too early for clean-up

Good location with great view over the city. Within walking distance (though down a lot of steps) to city centre. Tents were like little cabins with proper beds. Would stay here again.

Its worth staying for the fantastic views! The walk into the city does not take long, it is uphill on the way back though. Otherwise, the buses run into the city really regularly and pick you up right outside the campsite. Remember to buy a bus ticket, we saw at least 6 passengers fined 40 euros for not having one! The tents are clean and comfortable.

Brilliant location - the walk is bit strenuous on the way back, but there's always the bus, which takes you right back to the campsite. Really tight on security at the front gates - which was reassuring. I was a bit apprehensive about house tents, but they were fine. We would definitely stay here again. Would also recommend watching the sun set over Florence at Palazzo Michaelangiolo with a botlle of wine - 5min walk from campsite and a definite highlight of our tour of Italy.

Best part of my trip trough Europe. The bar with cheap drinks is a big hit. Peaceful yet exciting.
The tent idea is excellent, it's like living in a house not a tent, and the beds are really comfortable. Bus 13 and 12 goes right to the door, and again into centrum. Fantastic view from the bar, you can see all of Firenze.

everything was pefect !! the tents are really nice ! (no electricity nor lamps inside) you can find looots of things there (internet posts, phones, bar, market...etc)
Dont be put off by the location, very easy to walk into town or take a bus - also fantastic views of the city. Wireless is NOT free!
Great place to stay! Bus stop right outside the gates to the campsite and not a far walk down either! Everything was clean and safe. Really enjoyed my time here, would love to go again!
