Ponsonby Backpackers in Amman, New Zealand

Very good location, easy walking distance into the city centre,a stroll down Ponsonby and 'K' Road. Ideally situated to start off the usual touristy stuff and for a well deserved night out later Mark, from Scotland ~ 1st Sep 2011

It was nice, but it seemed like most people who were staying there were long-termers working in the city. Perhaps in the summer it has a more back-packer vibe. Even so, everyone was super nice, and the neighborhood is excellent. Ian, from USA ~ 24th Jul 2011

I stayed here for four days and found the staff to be welcoming and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about the area, bus system etc. I met a lot of very friendly people staying there as well and it felt like home. I had a hard time leaving. It is very clean and the staff doesn't bother you about your room and things while you are there. Rebekah, from USA ~ 3rd May 2011
