Pop Inn Hostel in Rome, Italy

the room we booked was like the cupcake that looks so good but was really baked with poo. we sprung for the nice room, and it looked good but smelled like it was built over an open sewer, and was not very clean. host desk blast loud music all day and night so if you are on the same floor that sucks too. there are much nicer places for same price i would not stay here. Breakfast is just a drink with a Croissant No hot water in the shower! The internet is in another place and it was not working the day I was there. Bit too noisy neiborghood, trucks, the smell of the trains. The dorm is tiny and packed. No common kitchen. Excellent Location, though, and helpfull staff. Luz, from Chile ~ 25th Jun 2009

Everything was fine. I enjoyed there, a bit noisy, but if you are tired it is not a major problem. cleanliness of bathrooms and rooms was fine. Positives: Staff are super nice and informed, really handy location for getting anywhere, as hostels go it's grand. basic handy breakfast thrown in Negatives: really loud traffic (even with earplugs!), free internet was a bit of hassle to use, no real common room Carol, from Ireland ~ 12th May 2009

Besides having a helpful staff, the only good thing about this hostel was the location, right next to Roma Termini. Other than that, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the bathroom issues: not clean, no hot water, and only 1 per floor. Are you kidding me? Would not stay here again, sorry!
