I stayed in the hostel in a private room with my girlfriend. The room was clean and very large and recently done up. There was a kitchen but no pots and pans to cook with unfortunately. The staff are very welcoming and generally keep to themselves. I like the area right in the middle of market and a few minutes walk from the old town. It's fairly cheap and laid back. Good hostel. Very cheap for a good location. The little bar, resto next to the hotel is worth a visit: cheap food and drinks. Ig I go back to Riga, I'll choose POSH backpackers. kevin, from Belgium ~ 13th Jan 2009
