  • I loved this place! The hostel is out of the way (but closer to the Center of New Zealand) the fact that they offer complimentary p/u & drop off makes this a non issue. They have a really friendly atmosphere, offer free waffles, coffee, tea, juice at breakfast (which is a great time & opportunity to catch up with other backpackers) There are 8 smaller dorms set out like little cottages around a courtyard and there are HAMMOCKS!! (clean comfy hammocks!)

  • I stay a week in a 6 bed dorm ensuite, clean bathroom, very confortable bunk bed, slow but FREE WIFI, the hostel is about 10 minutes walk from downtown, free breakfast and $10 meals special for backpackers. I've really enjoyed my stay so i would like to thank the managers and staff to be so friendly, helpful and welcoming. They may not have a swimming pool and Spa but you don't need this, to enjoy Nelson.
