Good location between port and Ios town, very walkable. I was there during low season, so I had a four bed dorm room to myself, which was nice, but not so fun, though that can be found in town... For low season: go to Far Out Vinh, from USA ~ 27th Sep 2009

Staff has a mini-bus waiting at the dock. My ferry arrived at 3:30am and a staff member was there with a sign ready to take me up to the hostel. very helpful. The rooms and showers were clean and had airconditioning. The location was decent, not too close to the main beach, but less than a 10 minute quad ride. I would definitely stay here again. This place was nice as it was quite close to the town, maybe 10 minute walk, and had its own restaurant and bar, which was convenient. We would stay again! Alicja, from Canada ~ 4th Aug 2009
