Pueblo Viejo in Ushuaia, Argentina

While I felt the Pueblo Veijo to be a very safe place for two solo women to stay, the window of our main floor room opened onto the street preventing us from opening the window for security reasons. The rooms and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and in good order. The staff did not speak English but were very patient with us as we tried our very broken Spanish. This was an excellent hostel which was well located and very friendly/helpful staff. The kitchen was clean and well appointed. I was also very happy to be able to store my bags there safely after I'd checked out. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
