- “ It's very easy to find Q4. I stayed only for 1 night because of attending a concert. The bed I booked was 8 bed female en suite. The bathroom and the toilet are separate. very thoughtful arrangement. Very clean(I'm a neat freak). Check-in and check-out both were fast. Kitchen looks neat though I didn't use any of the facilities. It's just by the road and several MTA trains crossing. might be a little bit sound for some people but I'm a good sleeper so that's none of my concern ”

- “ Great hostel in a beautiful building that used to be a bank. Designed to look more like a boutique hotel. Rooms and common spaces very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Great common spaces with plenty of room for people to hang out, full kitchen. Hostel is in Queens, but pretty quick and easy to get to on subway. You can hear trains at night, but it didn't bother me at all even though I'm a light sleeper. ”

- “ I had reservation for 2 nights with 3 big luggages because I was going back to my country. They told me that I had to move the room for the second night. I was fine with that but the problem was my iphone charger was lost. I asked the security who was the big guy at the front desk about Did they find the charger in the previous room that I stayed. He didn't try to find or ask others about that. He just was standing and shaking his head not even talk to me in a word. Because of I am asian ? ”

- “ terribly noisy: trains, highways and metro in front. ”

- “ I don't look for much in a hostel but I was in a 6 sleeper with 5 other girls and there was no room for me to even be able to get in my bag. Only PowerPoint was behind my neighbors matress below me and no lights if shelves for the top bunk people. ”

- “ Q4 hostel is clean and modern, though the rooms are quite tiny . It's quite well located because there are two subway stations at 5mn walk , it makes it easy to go to Manhattan.Unfortunately proximity with the outside subway tracks makes it noisy, even at night. As far as the hostel kitchen facilities are concerned : it is definitely under equiped , not enough plates, bowls, glasses, mugs etc . at the rush hour when plenty of people want to cook and eat it's really complicated ! ”

- “ Sure, you tend to be little vary about the neighborhood which looks non-residential and vast but Q4 extends an aura of warmth and safety and is situated in a prime location which is just 100m from two subway exists. The hotel itself is clean and cosy and the staff is really courteous, friendly and makes your stay extra cool. Nothing much to be said about shared accommodation but I spoke to a guy who stayed in a private room and it was supposed to really nice. ”

- “ It's an average hostel, but I wouldn't recommend booking it if you have some time to look for other variants. I stayed in a four-bed dorm, the room was very tiny and so was the bathroom. It was uncomfortable to change and take a shower. AC is another problem, it was cold at night. Don't forget to take earplugs as you'll hear trains all night. The common area with the kitchen was often dirty, plus expect to see a huge crowd and little space if you want to make breakfast or dinner there. ”

- “ Well, this is a really nice place. First, traffic is awesome, easy to travel to downtown. Second, staff are nice and friendly. Third, it's not very noisy even though it's right by the high way and the bridge. Fourth, nice basement for chilling out. It's not 100% perfect though. Dorm is a little bit stinky, since there lives 6 guys. The bed is too soft for me. It cost you 3 dollars to print, 5 dollars to do the laundry. But it's good for 38 dollars per night in NYC. Highly recommend. ”

- “ If you don't mind listening to trains pass all night and expect to be out all day, this is an affordable last-minute option. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but there isn't much to say about the location beyond its proximity to several metro hubs. They also charge to hold your bags after you check out. With more ability to reserve in advance, I would have probably stayed somewhere else. ”

- “ Sure one of the better Hostels I visited. Staff was neither rude nor very friendly. Just professional. They had charges for everything such as not returning your towl on check out... Common area was very nice though! Bathroom in my room was great. Price was high, but ok, thats New York. ”

- “ Computers to use are by fee but wi-fi works great; Queens Plaza is actually Honk Plaza (you can't drive through it without honking, apparently!). Staff are super helpful and there are some good non-internet resources to use to get around. Plus Court Diner is nearby and awesome. ”

- “ The train station is right next to the hostel, so it's easy to go to the center of New York City. There are pool table (billiard) and ping pong place. Shower rooms are inside of rooms. I don't really like it because there you may need to be naked in front of your roommates. ”

- “ I believe this hostel provides good services and clean facilities, making it worth your money. I was wary about leaving my bags with the front desk until I checked in, but my bags were secure and easily retrieved by the staff. It was easy to get along with my roommates, who were friendly. I prefer more privacy personally, so if I use this hostel again, I will try to reserve the rooms with 4 beds. ”

- “ Pros: There is a big common place with guitar, billiards, ping-pong, kitchen and stuff. It's quite close to two subway stations. Staff are nice. Cons: WiFi doesn't work well just sometimes. A bit noisy during the night since it's located under a railway bridge. ”

- “ Everythingwas great, maybe a breakfast and better beds would make a hostel perfect one. Good job and all positive thouts anyway, great job there. ”

- “ The hostel is not in Manhatan, but the public transportation takes you there quickly. The staff was always helpful and the structure is one of the best I've ever seen in a hostel! ”

- “ Nice place, new and clean. Staff is nice. Location is OK (as close as you can get to Manhattan without being on it). However, being located almost directly under the Queesboro bridge makes it extremely loud (trains crossing the bridge 24/7 are deafening). ”
