Very friendly staff. Organized activities daily. Very beautiful spot.

If you're staying on the main island then this place is decent. Seems best for couples or big groups, though... not much going on for fun. Also, paid $9 for an hour of internet and the network was down and didn't get my money back... kind of shady. But the price for the beach house was pretty good, just be prepared for some ants here and there.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many! Great location, wonderful staff. Beach is beautiful and right there! Had a very relaxing time. Would come back in a heartbeat!

The 'Beachside' management were lazy and disinterested and badly organised regarding rooms and payment. The kitchen was poor and unclean witout enough crockery. Just cos the place is near the beach, i felt they were only relying on this. Stay at Aremango Guesthouse instead, it was much better in every way.

Raro Backpackers is a great place to stay. Me personally i preferred the beachside opposed to the hillside. Overall was a good experiance and they have a great set up with the planned a activities each night (not that i took advantage of them as i should of as i was too lazy). Cheers guys...

Make sure you book direktly from their own homepage. If you book from hostelworld, you have to pay their fee to hostelworld (about 10 % more).

Paul is an excellent host! The bathrooms could be a lot cleaner though.
