  • Although not right in the city center this hostel is a very comfortable place, fully equipped kitchen, friendly and helpful staff. A good place to hangout.

  • This hostel was awesome. A little out of the way but the staff is super helpful and the bar next to the hostel is very fun with great entertainment and beer. The staff is great about telling you what to see and where to eat

  • Staff was very friendly, nice and polite:) They explain everything you need to know when you're first time in Budapest - in a perfect way (It's like: "This part of Budapest is super posh, do not buy anything in there!" or "Try to visit the small synagoge - nobody knows about it." However, we missed jug kettle, but you can solve it with a pot - it only takes longer:)

  • It is a hostel with great value for money. We got an ampartement with 2 floors, for 4 persons, and payed like 10€/night. Very comfortable beds but a bit chilly when you're going to sleep. The bathroom and shower was OK. One of the best things with the hostel is the beer-garden where you can buy beers that costs 1€. Great prices and very cosy area with roof, sofa, and sometimes live-bands.

  • this place is unique amongst hostels i've stayed in. it was a labyrinth of characterful rooms and courtyards leading to my private room, which was really good value. there is a pub downstairs which adds some nice atmosphere. this is a special place and highly recommended!

  • If you want to visit the real budapest, this is the hostel, the atmosphere is excellent, the rooms are very well for the little price. I recomend you it !, you will enjoy a great holidays ----- L'hostal esta d'allò més bé, realment la gent és molt maca i oberta. A l'arribar pot semblar que esta un poc en ruines però ja veures com la decoració i l'ambient que si respira esta d'allò més bé. Per cert només entrar tens un pub ple de sofas i cadires on et pots pendre una bona cervesa!!

  • The most important to me criterion: the very friendly helpful staff and the creative atmosphere at the hostel - I gess the Gondozo Pup (actually a nice garden in the first yard), the experimentary scene beetwen pub and second guest house and the hostel itself are one Project? Furthermore value for money is exellent, on top Martin offered a discount rate for living allone in a booked twin private room as my friend cancelled the trip to Budapest - great. Best regards!
