An absolutely fantastic hostel with one of the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. After making a mistake with the booking, they upgraded our room free of charge, and did everything they could to help us have a great time. Easy and convienient for Tongsala and the Pier.Not really the place you want to be for the action.At least a 20 minute scooter ride to the beaches and party areas.Clean and friendly staff, but it you are looking to meet other travelers and party - not the place. Jonathan, from USA ~ 30th Nov 2011

We enjoyed our stay at Red Cube so much that we extended it by 4 additional nights!The hostel is located on a quieter part of the island than Haad Rin, but only a short taxi ride away from the Full Moon Party.We certainly appreciated being in a quieter part of the island!The staff is excellent - very friendly and helpful - and made us feel at home.The beds aren't the most comfortable, but it wasn't enough to keep us from staying 8 nights.This new hostel definitely has the potential to be a rea Meghan, from USA ~ 6th Nov 2011
