The Red Lounge Hostel was very nice, only 15 minutes walk from the falls and 5 minutes from the walking trails. Funny and helpfull staff and spacious, clean rooms. At the time we stayed there breakfast was included in the price but it seemed they would start charging 3 dollars a day for it from this monday. Nice hostel, only a 10min walk to the falls and to the central bars & restaurants. Very friendly staff who were helpful with all queries. Bit annoying that the front door does not have a code/key so you have to wait for someone to let you in! Breakfast was also a little disappointing as it was just cereal or a bread and jam! We saw ratings and went to this hostel for 2 nights trip to Niagara. I must admit that the place is very clean. Beds are new and no bedbugs :). The rates are very decent. Every room has a big square fan but NO Air conditioners. As long as the outside night temp is below 68 F, it's gonna be comfortable. Our first night was 74 F outside and hence inside was extremely uncomfortable. Second night outside temp was 66 F and inside was nice cool. staff is friendly.
