  • We were really happy with Reggae Guest House. Besides the obvious benefits - such as free internet access, big common room, free toast / tea / coffee - there were small comforts that we didn't really appreciate until we stayed in lower quality hostels (things like good quality bath towels, quiet rooms, tour trip opportunities). Also, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were so happy with our experience that we booked another night at the hostel on our way back.

  • The place is fine. The kitchen is super hot and right next to the mixed dorm I was living in. Unlike staffs from other guesthouses I stayed in before, who were all efficient and helpful, staffs in this hostel mostly seem like to be not that hospitable. I would recommend Explorer's guesthouse nearby this one, just a little walk and you will reach there within 5 minutes. It's much more organized and comfortable and stylish and friendly. I would definitely choose it next time when I visit KL.
