The hostel was very friendly, clean and in a good location, and very reasonably priced. It is located very close to the train station, and has a decent selection of restaurants and bars close by. It's a very good location if you wish to explore the moors castle, I would definetely recommend it.

If you can choose, don´t book the single room in the summertime. it only has one window which is situated in the roof and impossible to open. The air gets very bad.

was practically empty when i was here (got a dorm to myself!) and bar closed for easter sunday so not too sure about the fun factor. bar-cafe is very nice though. location is nice and central but train station next door can be a little loud (not too bad though...at least you dont have to lug your backpack very far!). staff friendly, helpful and english-speaking.

I don´t think there was any heat at night. I had two blankets and a sleeping bag. Don´t expect a palace, but it´s really cheap, and the only hostel in town.

I completely enjoyed myself while staying at the 2 Squared Hostel! Situated right behind the train station, making the ~30 min. trip into Lisbon was not a problem. The bar/ cafe below run by the couple who owned the hostel was really quaint and cute. I liked to sit down there after sight-seeing all day and us my laptop; free WiFi was available both in the cafe as well as the rooms. The couple were very helpful, notably since they were able to speak very good English, and nice as well!! I highly recommend this hostel for travellers who want to stay a bit outside of Lisbon, yet have easy access to the city.
