Vilda and Erik are the best of the best. They pritty much deserve the country they have. Erik speaks 8 different languages, including a nice and clear Spanish. Vilda is a very charming and nice woman, and very helpful with everything. I don't think I will come back to Stockholm, unless I'm awarded with Nobel Prize. Should that happen, I will stay again in Renstierna Hotel.

I found this hostel to have a mix of families, business people and friends traveling together. I didn't mingle with anyone at the hostel like I've done at other hostels in the past. The rooms were very clean and I enjoyed the amenities of having a towel, robe, t.v., desk and sink in our own room. The breakfast was great. It had a large selection of items. The downside was that the room only had a skylight so the room was very stuffy by morning. The location was pretty good. It was a 10 min walk to the ferries that go to Djurgarden where we spent most of our time and there is a bus just steps away from the hostel.

This place was awesome! I had a room that was more like a hotel room than a hostel ( so was the price, but it was really worth it). The hotel is a little far from Stockholm historical center (if you dont like walking), but it is better according to me, and the area around it is nice with lots of bars, cafes, etc. The hotel itself is a calm place, there is no chill out room if you want to me people, for example, but just go out! Thanks a lot to the great staff too!

We booked the private double ensuite room, which was great. The bathroom/ensuite was smaller than expected, but hey - Swedes live this way in their apartments so it\'s like living like a local! The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. Breakfast was awesome too - just get in early! A typical Swedish breakfast with meats, cheeses & breads. Also cereals, coffee, tea etc. The bus drops you off literally across the street, which was brilliant and very convenient. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. Front door is always locked and reception is manned until 8pm with after hours number to call if needed. (A key is provided so you can get in and out when you need to during your stay). Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. Internet is free too! All the best on your journey!!

The understaffed aspect of this hostel really sucks especially if you don't have a cell phone that works in Europe. However, this is easy to forget once you stay in one of the friendliest, cleanest, and coziest hostels you will ever stay in.

Stayed here 3 nights. In a great location with bus and t-bana access though you can walk to everything in Stockholm from here. Staff were very helpful.Free internet and a GREAT breakfast were huge pluses. In the top 2 of hostels I've stayed in. Rooms look like Ikea showrooms. They could dust the floors better but still as a clean freak this place was great. Beds and linens were fantastic. Don't think twice about staying here.

A little out of the ways, but worth it for the price.

It was very nice, clean room, comfortable bed and clean showers. The breakfast was very good!!! I will stay here again, if I go to Stockholm. Only thing that I didn't like, there was no window in the room, so no fresh air.

CONS: It was a little uncomfortable to have only 3 lockers and 1 shower for 6 people; the walls/floor/ceiling were really noisy; from 20h to 6h there was nobody in reception, not even available. PROS: excellent organic buffet breakfast; near a subway station; staff super friendly; very clean and secure.
