There was no one at the residence when we arrived, had to make a call and then wait 30 mins for someone to show up. You should only consider this place if there is nothing else available. Christopher, from Australia ~ 16th Nov 2009

I saw a spider running in the bathroom :( The room had a little kitchen with a fridge, but everything in the kitchen was really old. Some of the ligths didn't work. They have no place where you can keep your baggages after you check out, something that is common in every hotel and hostel. The good things: It's cheap, it's not far from the city center and it's near to a metro booth. The location was the best thing about the place. The staff was non existent. We never saw staff after the day we checked in and we were there for several days. It is set up more like a hotel than a hostel, so you don't get to interact with others. Joseph, from Hungary ~ 21st May 2009

Hostel very well located, clean: it was definitely a nice stay. The owner was very nice to us but he did not give me my change (5€ and I did not notice that at that time), on purpose or not I do not know... There was an issue regards booking in..I have booked in 2 double bedrooms and incase we had to take 1 double and 1 tree bed room. We have been not informed about this problem and I was happy that Residence did not meet booking request! Katarzyna, from Poland ~ 14th Apr 2009

Was not able to find any staff when an issue arose. Place above a cafe and the smoke rises up the staircase making for a pretty potent smell. Room was good and clean. Near metro, tram and fairly near city centre. Did not see any other guests. Dane, from USA ~ 5th Apr 2009
