It is a nice place with a kind staff. But a little difficult to find with the directions. An advice: always call before you go to let them know when you'll arrive.

good clean location in quiet area, not far to walk or very cheap cab to all nightlife and major shopping. Stay was plesant without any problems, no lockers or any security though.

I was a little confusing when we first arrived since there is not a sign to explain that one must check-in on the 7th floor.

It´s a nice place with a good localization. It´s near from a great and big park called "El Retiro". We just missed shared rooms/places inside the hostels to meet other people, but we liked it.

quite difficult to find, because there is no sign outside except on the bell it seems to be a private house, where they rent their rooms, that gives a little strange feeling

Very homely / unique old-style hostel. Definitely an adventure. Perfect for a 2 day trip to Madrid. Great location and help. Really hard to find, not great showers, and a slightly awkward setup (the lobby is on the 7th floor while you stay on the 3rd-6th) but otherwise great all in all. the guide help was great. would highly recommend again!

Great for a quiet time and for a walk down to the Prado and Thyssen etc. Nice building and rooms but no real oppourtunities to meet other people outside of your dorm buddies. Good value though.

not a good place to have fun, but ok for a short and quite cheap stay, i got my own room for 25 euros but mostly stayed out! there are lots of better things to do in Madrid :)
