THIS PLACE WAS IDEAL FOR US. CHEAPER THAN ANY HOTEL, CLEANER THAN MOST HOTELS, FAR BETTER THAN ANY HOSTELS I'VE STAYED IN. THE ROOM WAS SO MUCH BIGGER THAN ANY DOUBLE HOSTEL ROOM I'VE STAYED IN, THE BATHROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND WE DIDN;T HAVE TO SHARE IT. THERE'S A FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE, AND SOME ROOMS HAVE TERRACES. IT'S A FEW MINUTES WALK AWAY FROM LESSEPS METRO STATION AND A BRILLIANT LOCATION. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO BUDGET TRAVELLERS WHO AREN'T LOOKING FOR A BOOZY HOSTEL, WEEKEND BREAKERS, OR PEOPLE ON TASTER TRIPS.

in Metro-Nähe in einem guten aber nicht ganz zentralen Viertel,
zur Ramblas mit der Metro ist es aber nicht weit (ohne Umsteigen!!!)

We loved the location of this hostel! It's near several restaurants and bars (explore the streets parallel to Torrent de l'ollia), and if you're up for it, it's quite a pleasant walk to Passeig de Gracia and Las Ramblas (25 minutes or so). The Fontana and Lesseps metro stations are nearby, otherwise. The rooms (we stayed in a twin room with private bathroom) are very clean and comfortable, and the staff very helpful when you ask for directions!
We'll come back!

The Residencia was the nicest hostel i've stayed at in Europe. I shared a private room for 5. There was a balcony and everything was very comfortable. It is four metro stops from the city, which isn't bad at all. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Comments to Hostels: There is a problem when I booked the room. The room I need is 4-bed room. I choosed one 4-bed room on the first page online. But the second page displayed 6-bed room after I clicked the "confirm" buttom.

A little expensive, though clean and very nice. Better internet connection would have been nice, but is appreciated just the same. 10:30 required checkout is too early. Especially since we didn´t arrive until 11pm.
