ok, let's write down some remarks. We booked the room to move in at 9am, but we couldn't move in before 12. Very very noisy, even after midnight. The door to the room were made from plywood, but he main door outside were secured. Location perfect!! just in the centre.

Student residence that accepts travelers. Awesome location 30 seconds to the main city square, very good security, they have 24 hour concierge. But being a student res its pretty much dead and you donÂșt see the staff or other people.

Great location on one of the main shopping squares, close to the Cathedral and Picasso Museam etc and nice rooms! The downside is there is no air conditioning which means you have to leave all the windows open at night and we were kept awake most of the night due to the noise. As long as you don't mind a bit of noise it's a good place to stay.

I stayed two days in Malaga, the first night was at the santa paula hostel and the second at Ilans Apt. Each hostel had their ups and downs. First, Santa Paula was nice because it had an elevator, internet access, and decent bathrooms compared to Ilans. However, santa paula did not have air conditioning, a kitchen, or a helpful staff. There was no curfew but to leave the hostel you needed a person to press a button while someone else opens the door(dont know how someone traveling alone would be able to open the door). The worst part about Santa paula was that it was extremely noisy due to construction and right in the center of the city. The location was great though. Now, for Ilans Apt. I enjoyed Ilans Apt very much for these reasons. first, he was extremely helpful pointing out all the key parts of malaga(bars, buses, beaches, museums, supermarket) everything you need to know about malaga and he spoke English! which was a def plus. Also, his apt was much much more quiet. We arrived at 1pm and had the entire apt to ourselves until 10pm until a couple arrived, but they went right to sleep(not saying that that will happen to you but it was very nice and quiet). Ilans had a kitchen equipped with all the necessities(pots, bread, sugar, fridge, oven ,stove) The room was what you paid for and he gave us a fan. The bathrooms were decent, but not as nice as Santa Paula. The bad thing about Ilans was that there was no internet, and no elevator. However, there was a internet cafe one block away that cost a euro for one hour, which was very nice. So therefore, I would advise you to chose Ilans Apt if you can manage to bring your stuff up several flights of stairs. I enjoyed his Apt very much and would def stay there again. he let us store our luggage there until our train left later in the day. It was a very nice stay
