It was not quite what we expected when we arrived but we were able to adapt after a day. If you come expecting it to be like sleep-away camp as a kid, then you'll be fine. August was very hot. Showers/bathrooms were not the best but workable. Staff was nice and helpful. Location was close enough to take our day trips- not sure staying at the campsite offered any entertainment. So if you want a cheap place to sleep and travel out every day, this may be your type of place, but no frills! Erin, from USA ~ 3rd Sep 2009

We went to this hostel for a 1 night stay and as a way to get a little dose of nature in tourist over-run Sorrento. The website called this place "an oasis of peace, amongst the vegetation of olives, lemons and oak trees" ...which was only kind of the situation. What we actually found was a place that was like a summer camp for teenagers. We arrived there around 5pm and they were playing top 10 hits and middle eastern music from the pool, but rediculously loudly. We left, came back around 11:3 Christine, from USA ~ 24th Aug 2009

We had a great time at the private beach(although somewhat of a hike down). There are lots of different lodging options. We stayed in the "cabins" without a bathroom - make sure you bring your own toilet paper! It can be loud at night - I am sure this depends on what area you stay in. Suzanna, from USA ~ 7th Aug 2009

The location is very nice, very beautiful landscapes.Very quiet area. Well served by buses. Good staff service. I have been bit dissapointed by the showers and toilets. The site needs urgent refurbishement but we always find it clean. Vanessa, from France ~ 28th Jul 2009
