Reception doesn't open 24hr. There're only 4showers, 6toilets and it seperate from main bld. Room is dirty and small and made of wood. So u can hear everytime ppl walk/talk. It has no Air Con!! Worst part is there is a church next door, which ring every hour!! Tanate, from Thailand ~ 2nd Sep 2009

This is the best hostel I have every stayed at, EVER! IVAN is AWESOME! and totally knows Crete. It is clean and close the beach. Bus service is great. Great people stay here to hang out with! I have stayed at 100s of hostels and this is the best one! Stay here!!! Hillary, from USA ~ 27th Jun 2009

I loved this hostel! I was here for about a week not but last week, and It felt more like a home with family then just a place to crash. This was my frist hostel and it was amazing. I went with a good friend of mine who has been to many hostels all over and she said out of all her experiences this was the best she'd been to as well. All the staff and people were very friendly, helpful, and kind. Everything was very clean and easy to use. Prices were UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP! The city it is in is in a anne, from USA ~ 5th May 2009

Ivan, the owner, is absoutely adorable. Makes everyone feel at home, a very chilled out place to stay! Lovely in the summer, only downfall is if it rains, as the toilet and shower block are seperate to the main building (not much fun when you're half asleep at night and need to toilet!) The price is a bargain, it's right in the centre of the old town, 5 min stroll from the bus station & the beach, own bar is cheaper than town. Local shop around the corner.
