As you see i have good comments about alltopics. But still i have one very big complain: that i could not pay the bill with VISA-CARD !! I think this is absolutely unacceptable! You are operating with creditcards, but the main sense of a credit card you refuse - that is really unpossible !

dear sir i would like to complain as you are advertising this hostal with breakfast,but when i asked about breakfast i was told that there was no breakfast to be ad at this hostal,i was very disserpointed about this as in your advert for this hostal you say in your discription that breakfast was included,could you please reply to me and explain to me why this is and was so ,john

The hostel is very well located, we are right in the Old Riga where all happens there, it is also situated next to most of popular bars and restaurants. However, be carefull if you search peacefull and quite place, this hostel is situated up to a "strip" bar .... so hot ambiance guarantee ! The staff is very nice and the place is clean, very good quality/price rate !

SPECIAL .... one shower (and in such conditions...) for more than 25 persons... strange location, in a first floor of a family building where the old women come to the hostel for see tv.... no really good security, this is on your own. No tea or coffe, no breakfast. Fantastic location in the middle of the ld city, perfect for see ALL (and when i tell ALL is all, because all the most important things are together in the old city. People here is really not friendly... Good for sleep and go.

Very inexpensive and the staff are nice. It is a little odd, however, that the free internet computer is the reception PC so they can bump you off at anytime to check someone in. Also, the kitchen is really just a microwave and fridge. The shower door does not lock and the room had dirty clothes and kleenexes stuffed under the beds even after cleaning. I would still stay again however.

Double room was close to the reception and we could hear the bell ringing all night because it was 24 hr reception service. Below our window (1st floor) there was a tequila bar-terrace open until 2:30 am, so we could hear perfectly the music and it was not possible to sleep until the bar was close. Of course we complained about the room and staff did not give us a solution. Moreover, hospitality was awful.
Very loud area and bar right under it - not best place to get to sleep before 2.30 am
When the hostel is even moderately full the washing facilities are hopelessly inadequate.
