It pains me to give a negative review because the owner is so nice. It's a cheap bed in a great location, but this is by far the filthiest place I have ever been. It was downright revolting.

This hostel has a friendly atmosphere and is situated, as it says, "right on Nevsk", which is within close range to everything, and if youre going off the beaten track, the metero is close by. It is located next to a McDonald, and this makes it an easy location to both find and ask direction for if you're lost ("Mcdonald", even poorly english-speaking russians understand that:) The owner is a nice man who helps you with registrating cheap, and knows his St. Petersburg, as is the rest of his staff:) I'm staing here next time as well- The norwegians

This place appeared to be falling down around us and every time we shut our bedroom door plaster fell off the ceiling. The whole place smelled really bad. There was no lock for the door to our room. The kitchen was untidy and dirty. The two showers were often filthy, and didn't work very well. The water didn't stay hot and the showerhead kept falling off one of them. It was often v difficult to find any member of staff on duty. We had informed them of when we were leaving but were still left to let ourselves out at the end of our stay. The dorms looked slightly better than our double room and the location is good but I would not advise anyone to stay here - especially a girl on her own (and I have travelled as a lone female before).
For a cheap price and a cheap location, I was throughly happy with this place

If Your in st Peters, this is the place to stay!!! Its not the Ritz hotel, but its one hell of a party hostel, with sum great charctors and people!!! What more can you ask for? Ben =p

we had a great time in this city , and the hostel was excatly what we expected ! we wanted a bed in the center , for a good price, that's what they gave to us !
