I had a great time here! I highly recommend it. Mama is awesome... she makes the best crepes and is really nice. This is the only place to stay if youre in Lagos.

Its hard to put into words how incredible this hostel is! My weekend at the Rising Cock was hands down one of the best weekends in my entire life. We got hooked up VIP style! Momma and Papa were put on this earth to run a badass hostel. They are the best people. If you ever read a negative remark about this place ignore it, you would never want to be friends with anyone who didnt absolutely love it. The only thing to watch out for is Momma shoveling crepes down your throat.

ok so its an ok hostel,but 28 euros is way too much and there are only so many crepes u can eat for breakfast,there should at least be an option of cereal and some orange juice insted of just crepes and lemon tea

A really fun hostel in a good spot. Has movies on a big screen in the lounge area and the terrace is a great spot to have a beer and meet new people. Mama´s crepes for breakfast are a great treat too!
it was the best place ive ever been to! mamma even made us all dinner one night. we all jsut chilled out on the beach then hit up the bars. it was awsome!
If you´re looking for a place to party, this is your hostel. Definitely not for the picky traveller - or anally clean ones - but it is a great place to party and the other travellers are always down for a good time.
