When I arrived there they did'nt have the room that I wanted available and as for breakfast I though that they would have had everything provided but it turned out that you had to buy your own.

Not a bad hostel - good location, pool table, decent common room, kitchen, and smoking deck...staff were friendly. I've stayed in cleaner hostels before though. Also, had to deal with cold showers for a few days. You could do better, but you could also do a lot worse.

Who cares if its a bit dirty, the staff are awesome and the bar was a blast. Easy walking distance to CBD centre, and if you cant be arsed just jump on the free city circle tram. Would definately stay again

atmosphere brilliant. stayed in 10-bed dorm which was an absolute dive, and my bed broke in the middle of the night, more than once. bathroom like something from a 3rd world country, although other bathrooms were nice.cannot comment on other bedrooms but sure they were a lot nicer than the 10-bed so don't let me put you off!

I thought it was generally ok, and would probably stay again, but there was a cooked cockroach on one of our pancakes, and lacking facilities in the kitchen. The staff could have been more friendly.

I didn't believe the reviews, but if you have the room we did, it is the loudest hostel you will ever stay in, with bass vibrating your bed all night. Beds not sturdy, one girl got a black eye from a bunk bed beam above her slamming her. BUT, people are nice, and it's good if you're young and want to Par-teh. Good showers, great kitchen.
