The location is good.The aunty that is managing and cleaning the house is very friendly.I just hope that they make the room available earlier.
We appreciate guest's kind review and comments. We have only 8 rooms in the house. Our official check-in time is 2pm and check out time is 12pm. We do allow guests to leave their luggage in the guest house should they arrive early as in this case, at 9am or early check-in if the room allotted is not occupied the night before. We definitely would not be able to check in all guests in the morning. We hope that guest understands our operations. Thank you

We arrived so late that our room was passed onto another backpacker (we were VERY late) but the manager found us another room instantly and arranged another hostel in the area for the following day (they all know one another!!) The service was excellent, a great balcony overlooking the river and I could quite happily recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a cheap sleep. Edward Mark, from England ~ 29th Jan 2012

This guesthouse was renovated with a nice touch and the place had a really nice atmosphere. The rooms and showers were quite modest, but common areas, such as the terrace and kitchen were really nice. Ray and his wife are amazing hosts, who take lot their time to explain you Melaka. Rooms are clean and the location directly at the river is terrific! And last but not least the banana cake is awesome :-)! Tobias, from Germany ~ 30th Sep 2011

We stayed in a three beds dorm for Sunday night. It is very noisy because it is close to a busy street.Maybe other rooms are OK,but not recommend the dorm, especially for weekends.River view is great. Chenyan, from China ~ 5th Jul 2011
