Complete gem, helpful staff, great location, fun and outgoing people and character, the place was spotless, just wish there was a lock on my door....other then that this place has it all and i would definitely stay there again. This place made my stay in budapest awesome, and the price is right too!!

We had a very good time at the apartment of Riverside Hostel!!! Everything was just renovated, lot of space and light and everything you need for vacation ;). There are restaurants and a 24h supermarket in the street and Danube is just around the corner! Staff was absolutely fiendly! We had a realy good time :)

I had a very good time in this hostel (stayed 7 nights), nothing missing : wifi, kitchen, lockers and very friendly staff (Rita's unforgettable). I've stayed in 3 places while in Budapest and that's definitly the best in my point of view...

Riverside hostel is in an excellent location right near the Danube and within short walking distance to the major Nyugati Pu station. When we arrived we had a little bit of trouble finding the place due to it basically being a flat overlooking one of the main roads, but when we got close enough we were greeted with friendly shouts of "we are waiting for you!" from the balcony above. The room that I slept in was very large,with very high ceiling;Therefore,
the air wasn't stuffy.The matresses were also firmer than most hostel beds;So,for comfort,this is a superior hostel.Staff was very nice too!
