  • This is a great hostel! The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were clean and the ameinites were suffcient. Wireless was easy to connect to and use. The common area had a great atmosphere with something for everyone. The food was decent and very convenient. Mimi the cat was fun to have around. This was definitely a nice relaxing break from the loud streets of Shanghai.

  • I would have been really grateful, if my room would have had a window. It was a little difficult to get used to the new time and pass my jetlag without knowing wheteher it was day or nighttime...

  • The hostel was very good and the staff helpful and friendly. Only minus was that we didn't have any window in our room.

  • Except the location, I think the hostel is awesome. An elevator would have been better.

  • This hostel was great! Not too far from the French Concession the only thing that would have made the location Excellent rather than Good would be if they were slightly closer to a metro, but they're still only a 15-minute walk away. Staff is mostly helpful and friendly. They sell good, affordable breakfasts. I got a deluxe double room for myself because I didn't want a dorm, and it was cleaner than any hotel room I've ever been in. Highly recommended!

  • Outstanding hostel. I had a private room which was great with a clean spacious bathroom. Great area to socialize, eat, and meet people downstairs. Highly recommended!

  • Nice hostel at a nice location! 10 min. walk to metro line number 2 which connects to the important sightseeing points and to the Pudong Airport. The matraces are too hard but enough for 2 or 3 nights.

  • I stayed here for nine nights in the last two weeks of May/2012. Its a very good hostel and I plan on returning. The cleaning staff works the place over every day, the staff speaks enough English to be helpful, the location is good and once you find the nearest stop (its on line 4) the subway is a 5 minute walk. Its on a quiet "lane" across from a school. On your iPhone map the school's track is the easiest way to find this place. It's 60 feet (20 meters) and across the lane from the track.
