today was my first day not at the rolling stone and what a relief. no more sleeping 20 ppl jammed into a room big enough for 10 (you could roll from one bed across five more without faslling down the nonexistent gap). now i actually get a locker in the same room as my bed (i was one of the few lucky ones to get a locker at the rolling stone). no more being yelled at by staff for not locking the front door with a key we were not given.

Had a great time. Staff are crazy, but very helpful. Probably could have used an extra bathroom for the amount of people staying.

The hostel staff are SO RUDE here, we made our reservations early in the morning and came at 10 in the evening. The staff just laughed at us and said we couldnt get a room cause they dont bother to check hostelworld. We couldnt even get our 3 pounds deposit back! Dont go here!

It's very disorganised; the staff didn't seem to know what was going on and they kept overbooking dorms and selling people's beds on before they arrived. The lockers were either not available or the keys had been lost so they weren't lockable. Bathrooms were not very clean.

Was meant to stay 1 night and ended up staying 3, great location to the town and the day trips and excellent value for money. Very good hostel.

Its a shame that this is the only real hostel in Brasov. The owner of this place is a liar, is very rude, and only wants your money. Do not go on the tours offered from here.

Clean, free breakfast and helpful staff. It can however be hard to locate the staff at times, but so long as you\'re not in a desperate hurry it\'s fine.

The hostel is great, clean and modern and the staff are energetic and superb. We were called a cab by the staff (after waking her up) at some ungodly time in the morning which was much appreciated. We shared a private dbl room and the view was just spectacular. Would highly recommend this hostel as it is also situated in a great location with visits to other Transylvania highlights just a train or bus ride away.
This is one of the best hostels we have been to. The staff are amazing, really helpful and enthusiastic about a city they love. Its a shame some people don't appreciate all that they will do for you. There is a real mix of people, it isn\'t just a party hostel, there were people from all walks of life. The trips are good too. People who went by public transport didn't save money.
