Booked a private room with shared bathroom in Rosedene Hotel but was given a room at Eaton House. Seems this business owns a number of houses in Ebury street and rooms priced pretty much the same. Location is great. Very close to Victoria bus/coach station and to metro station. Also walking distance to Thames River, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace. Room also had a little television. On down side, towels were damp when first arrived in the room. Seems cleaning staff just fold them daily and put them back on the bed. Not a big deal just so long as towel was not used by previous guest (I believe it was). If this happens, go to reception and ask for fresh towel. While young man at reception initially seems disinterested, he does respond. Hot water pressure in shared bathroom was good by about day three but bathroom was so so in regards to cleanliness. May have also had something to do with other guests being messy. Reception advised that there was a fridge and microwave oven in the basement which seemed helpful. Unfortunately though, fuse in basement blew 'every' time microwave was switched on, so nothing was properly heated or refrigerated. Luggage can be stored in reception area for GBP2 per piece but it is not secure. Gave an average rating for fun since this is not really applicable when staying in a hotel room. Rating for staff (at least one person) was somehwere between poor and average. Overall though, can recommend this place for budget travellers (especially with early to mid-week prices) as there isn't much in the way of budget hotels in London, especially in this kind of location.

Travelers, this hotel is excellent, care, cleaning and of course the security and location near Victoria Station and the subway, bus line, even walking to get excellent places. Totally recommended.

Thank you for nothing! No room, eventhough I made reservation early enough and paid deposit of 20 euros and informed you about our late arrival. I lost my deposit, I was left without a room in the middle of the night to London and all this thanks to your and your rude staff. I will never recommend your hostel to any one. Thanks to internet, lots of people will hear about your way to handle your clients.

Due to the character of the buildings in G.B its always high humidity/damp in the rooms, perhaps you should consider radiators with a in-built fan, that could be on for a few hours before arrival. We had to start by taking out all the sheets of the beds and hang them up to get them dry.Its not a complaint to your hostel, its in every hotel/hostel I have visited in G.B.

my room was smell like someone smoking in my room after my room had been clean. I had been extra charge to my bill because i paying by card. They must tell me early about this!!!! They charge me for storing luggage in their hotel for two pounds unfairly.

It was small as same as the London prison. Our toilet was 2 stairs up. Our rooms for 2 was so small,hot, and horful. I will not recommand to any one.

Very Good location, sheets and toilets were clean, our 5-room with private room was big
Window was broken in room 9 and had an awful squeak when left open. Had to close it to get peace.

moist and smell
The location was perfect. There was a lot of mold in the room, the cleaning staff went through our luggage and the shower flooded the bathroom in about ten minutes. If you're going strictly for location, it's perfect.
