Other than the hostel being on a steep hill and having no lift, it is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and the hostel is clean and secure. It is close to downtown and a lot of shops.

The rooms were nice and clean, however the same could not be said about the bathroom. Also one bathroom for a whole floor of people was not ample.

Terrific,friendly atmosphere from both helpful staff & global travellers. Accepting of a 71YO. Wendsdays soup brews really hit the spot. House cat loved by all. TV reception a problem. Cosy lounge revealed artistic & piano player's talents. Smokers loved covered courtyard. Probs:Squeeky floor board & hinge R5!

The staff was super-helpful. I had reserved a higher-priced accommodation. The staff guy was most helpful in getting me a better deal that had just opened up, when I arrived. Lugging my stuff up the hill was a chore, but I enjoyed the funky atmosphere.
