Very good hostel with very friendly staff. They did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. For 8 € you can get a complete dinner incl. wine which was excellent. Sintra tour absolutly recommendable. A big 'Thank you' to Carlos once again. We learned so much about your culture and country. The hostel is brand new, so the facilities are pretty well kept and modern, and it's very clean and cosy. Although it is on top of a train station, it is very quiet, there's no noise at all. The location is perfect, very close to Bairro Alto and Chiado. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. There's no doubt I would stay there again and I would definitely recommend it. Had a great time at this hostel. It is beautifuly decorated, great staff, great facilities and definitely the best location in town. The staff will help you with anything you need. I went with their guided day-tour to Sintra and highly recommend it. The guide is very friendly and will make you leave Portugal feeling like a local. Would definitely stay there again. Rossio Patio Hostel is the first hostel which I have stayed in my life (4 nights) - with my 66 years really late! Besides the objective factors like cleanlyness and security ..... Ifelt really familiar and very welcome. I enjoyed the dinners, the free walking tour, the excursion to Sintra - to name one of the organisators would discriminate the others of that excellent team which puts lots of love and energy into Rossio Patio Hostel!
