Irritating noisy guests in the room nearby. Of course this can happen in any hotel.

A very pleasant superise for the price. Actually a hotel! But watch out for hotel prices on other things. I was charged 13 euro for a 5 minute international collect call. i would recommend it but be careful!

The hotel is very acceptable. About a 10 to 15 minute walk to the tower, but does benefit from being on the riverbank. It was undergoing refurbishment whilst I was there and the roof terrace bar was closed due to private filming.

Great location about midway between the central railway/bus stations and the Piazza Del Duomo. Both are about 5 minutes away on foot. The airport is also minutes away. Lots of life in the evenings in the bars and cafes just seconds from the hotel. Reception was staffed all day and night which was very convenient. Definitely recommended.

We were upgraded to a room with ensuite facilities and TV for free. Linen were changed daily. Very kind and helpful staff- whatever you need, just ask and they will help. Taxi ride from the airport to the hotel costs about 8€. Don't forget to bring ear plugs as italian cities (especially at such a central spot) are sometimes a bit noisy. Nice stay, enjoy the special atmosphere in the historic building! Recommended Restaurants: I Santi (Via S. Maria), La Buca (Via Galli Tassi) and Omobono (Piazza Omobono) - original tuscan food at reasonable prices.

My third stay and I'll return. A charming hotel, great breakfast and lots of period style, situated right on the riverside. A great base for exploring Tuscany as there are frequent trains and buses to most towns.
