Saigon Mini Hotel 2 in Tokyo, Vietnam

Not impressed.Book for Mini 2 but the "upgraded us to Mini 1" was all good until the construction workers were drilling holes and operating saws outside out window at 7:30am!!Also, they said free breakfast and then charged for it and also tried to overcharge for room.Would not recommend, you can find a better place with more honest people.Saigon was awesome though!!

Dear Sir, Thank you for choosing us as well as your taking a valued time to post this comment. We truly did do hope that with our upgrading policy you would have a more comfortable stay with us. Your original booking made at our SMH2 (hostel) at the Basic room without window was upgraded to a Standard queen bed room having a window and definitely there was no extra charge for this status. Unfortunately for us, the neighbor house needed to make a repaired work on these days (Presently, they completed their project). It made a noise which we could not interfere and truly out of our control. We acknowledged that we could not say that you and our other valued guests had to accept, but we truly needed your sympathy with the circumstance. The neighbor house's repaired work started from the morning and finished in the afternoon around 17:00 PM, sorry we could not recognize that you may be a light sleeper. If you had made an inquiry directly to us on time to get a quieter room, we could arrange your night at our main building SAIGON MINI HOTEL 5. About the breakfast, there is something needed to be clarified. In order to satisfied with the diversified demand on accommodation of bookers (one of them need breakfast included in the room charge, but other would like to have it at somewhere surrounding our hotels), we offer 2 different products to our guests; room type with breakfast included and the other has no meal. To avoid the confusion, on this booking online site, we already described clearly and properly about our products to bookers. Please feel free to check it to see that we have no reason to trick valued guests; while we always valued our hotel guest's great support to our business. If this explain does not meet your feeling, please let us know what we should do because we are very concerned about anything made our guests un-pleased. Thank you very much. Very pleasant stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also they provided us with some useful info of the area, a map etc. Guests can arrange bus/train trips here if they wish. The room was excellent although compact. Fresh towels, fridge, sat TV, good selection of toiletries, reasonable mini bar prices. The location is ok, slightly difficult to find if walking as it is tucked up a small alley - which coincidentally appears to have a good selection of vietnamese street food.7 Euan, from Scotland ~ 29th Jul 2011
