- “ Arrived in Saigon ridiculously late and the alley the hostel was located in was a bit shady. However, I think any alley in the area would be shady at 330 am. A sign off the main street could be a good idea. Room was small but more than enough for me. Clean. Air conditioned. Staff was super helpful, especially a young woman named Fung? She was super friendly, helped me book a bus ticket, and answered any questions I had. Good location. Walked everywhere. Don't have anything negative to say. ”

- “ Very good location. The staff wasn't nice at all, always negativ, not helpful. Had the feeling I was just disturbing then doing nothing every time I asked a question or anything. The only nice person was the young man watching during night. he was helpful and nice. The first day they told me that they would give me a towel for the bathroom...after 2 nights, I never saw any towel. Okay the hotel is well located, in the heart of the backpacker district, but there are a lot of other ho(s)tel nearby ”

- “ The alley where the hostel is located is extremely noisy, but you are centrally located around a bunch of other hostels with backpackers milling around and partying into the night so some noise is to be expected. ”

- “ Dorm rooms are very small, yet tidy and clean enough (though you have to throw your bedsheet or pillow-cover to the floor for it to be changed) Good location in the backpackers' area. Value for money paid (breakfast included for 8$). Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again anyway. ”

- “ Is there anything bad I can say about this hostel? Everything about it exceeded expectations- from the staff, the massive dorm beds, immaculate bathrooms, great breakfast (included!), to the location...all were a joy and I actually ended up staying here on two different occasions. And obviously would stay there again if ever in HCMC. ”

- “ I booked seven days in the Saigon Youth Hostel. I road a mail to them some days before so that they are aware I will be in time. After arriving they told me the A/C in my room is out of order and I have to move to another hostel for two days. During my stay they told also to other people this story or the water supply is out of order and by the way I have not seen any maintenance there. From my point of you the management at the reception desk should be reorganized and more honest. If you are overbooke ”

- “ It was a very pleasant stay! It was so nice to have a place to go back to in the evening where you could take a rest from this great but o so hectic city. They were also ery earnest and told you what the normal prices were for the commen things because on the street everybody was trying to get you overpaying yourself for everything. The dorms were perhaps a bit small but the beds were good!! And I am 2 meters long. The breakfast they served was also very nice and the staff brilliant!! ”

- “ GOOD: Great party atmosphere for college-age kids. Beds, lockers, mini lockers, shower rooms were great (big, clean, & many of them). The Mai Chau tour was one of the best experiences I had in my 2-week tour of Vietnam; I hope to take it again next year. BAD: Many of the computers on the ground floor often had internet that wasn't working, and the computers on the 5th floor were not even functional (frozen screen, no mouse, etc). The showers could use better ventilation or windows. No Skype. ”

- “ Great experience overall. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and perctly located in the backpackers district (district 1). As it was my first day ever in Vietnam I was a little taken a back initially because my single room didn't have a window, but I soon learned alot of rooms in Vietnam are like that because most building are very narrow. Great value. ”

- “ This is a place where it feels like a family. The place is clean and they provide really good service. The staff there are friendly and they take the effort to help you in whichever way they can. Kuddos to them! The location is great as it is away from the buzz of the roads but close enough to the central area. ”
