Felt very much like a business type hotel. Maybe it's just too big for that cozy feeling. It's safe, secure and definitely clean. I would stay again if I needed a bed, but probably not for meeting fellow travelers.

its in a really quiet part of tokyo, if you're into the party scene, try a different place. but i liked it none the less

I stayed at the hostel mostly for sleep so I don't feel much about character and fun part. Close to hot tourist spot and transportation station. Thanks for providing this excellent place with great price.

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Excellent location. Clean bathrooms and showers. Did I say the location was good..everything you want/need is 5 minutes. Don't forget to get your railpass before you leave home!!!

This was the best hostel I've ever stayed at. Extremely sociable, clean etc and Tokyo was amazing. It is about 30 minutes away by metro from the main night spots, but this isn't a problem as it makes you more inclined to stay out till 5am and catch the first train back. Asakusa is a lovely area. Very traditional and slow paced when compared with most of the rest of Tokyo. My only qualm is with the directions on this website - it took me ages to find the hostel using those directions. There are much easier ways to get there which you will soon work out.

We had an amazing time. The location of the hostel is great--right in the middle of asakusa, the most low-key, most beautiful, area of toyko that we saw on our trip (however, if your coming to toyko to go clubbing, the location may not be so great--public transport ends at midnight and the clubbing areas are kind of far). The staff were super-duper sweet--they spoke english and were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean, and have there own lockers, although in our experience, no one steals in Japan. Really nice common area, delicious breakfast. People staying there are great--not over run with Americans-- they're from all over the world. We had an amazing time, wouldn't think to stay anywhere else. Arigatou!!
