Room were very small for the price we 've paid for it. And not a nice view at all. The location was all right. If I will go back to Tokyo I won't stay there again. Janina, from Belgium ~ 7th Jul 2009

I would say it's more a budget hotel than a hostel, but for a hotel it's really good value. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is quiet but very convenient for the Shinjuku area. We'd definitely stay there again! Kathryn, from England ~ 11th May 2009

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Sakura. The room was small, but that's normal in Japan and I didn't spend too much time there anyway. The staff is friendly, the breakfast was ok, the location of the hotel is excellent(subway is very close and it's only two stops to Shinjuku, from where you can get everywhere). Everything is as described. The hotel is clean and has a nice atmosphere.

Although close to a subway station it is off the main line. The room is an absolute shoe box with an aeroplane style bathroom. However, the room and the bathroom were both clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is zero atmosphere, I wouldn't stay here again.
