Nice hostel, the first one i had ever been to at the time. Staff seemed friendly, the location was good, the other travelers were nice. People in the neighborhood were extremely nice, when i got lost getting there, two different people pointed me in the right direction. It's also right next to a bunch of arcades, pachinko, and karaoke halls for people watching fun late at night. Tina, from USA ~ 25th Sep 2009

Ikebukuro is probably the hotest place in Tokyo but certainly not the most pleasant or colorfull. However the hostel is quiet, clean and simple. The staff is helpfull. No free coffee in the morning and internet is 100Y for 15 minutes if you don't have a laptop. arielle, from France ~ 2nd Sep 2009

I only had two days in Tokyo and Ikebukuro is a great place to set yourself up to visit the attractions. This place isn't in the Lonely Planet Guide so you don't have thousands of ppl coming into the play daily. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Even though I stayed in a single room I ventured into the dorm area where I was invited to some birthday cake for one of the staff! Every-one staying at the dorm was Australian, so it almost felt like being at home. I would come back! Kim, from Australia ~ 9th Jun 2009

The location was convenient but we had really poor written directions. Make sure you bring a map. Cleanest hostel I've ever seen. Tara, from USA ~ 5th Jun 2009

The staff were excellent, spoke English really well and were always helpful. Met some great people and the individual showers were a plus. Jenna, from Australia ~ 18th May 2009

I stayed in the one-bedroom rooms. It's very comfortable, clean, and the staff are friendly. The internet could be cheaper, and the toilet doesn't have the heated control pad like everywhere else in Japan. Besides these minor 2 issues, everything else was flawless. A great place to stay overall. I really liked it. Gautam, from Australia ~ 21st Mar 2009
