A nice ryokan in a good location in Tokyo

This is a pleasant, and calm place to stay out in a clean and pleasant neighborhood just north of all the action. Iriya is a nice neighborhood for a first time visitor to relax in for a couple of days. The building itself may be a little "old", but that shouldn't really be much of a concern for the self-sufficient world-traveller and friends. The location is convenient, but finding it the first time is a little tricky if you're not used to the way the streets seem to randomly split and angle off into seemingly random directions. Perhaps a sign or two along the route from the JR/Metro station would help, but, once you've found it, it's easy to navigate back to. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Very friendly. Good location, very silent. Good breakfast, both Western and Japanes. Good v.f.m.

A really cozy place, you get a sense of home-similar to a bed and breakfast. Thanks for a comfortable stay and great service

This is a low-cost and clean hostel, well worth the money.
The directions on the website need to be updated--they're terrible! You should take the first left after the Family Mart, then go straight for two blocks, then turn left. Sakura is on your right about 20 m down.
The owner was rather grumpy, and I was persistently thrown out of bed for cleaning, even if there was not much to clean. The cleaning would then last up to 3 hours. Apart from this, it was a clean, good hotel.
a business hotel in tokyo,I stay for 2 nights ,private room with bathroom also, mostly packed room, but have all facilities inside, unfortunately, don't expect for a good staff & party time here, very silence.
Sakura Ryokan is very clean and the staff seem very friendly (I can't understand Japanese). There is not that much contact with other guests if you are not having meals, so I wouldn't recommend it to someone who was looking to meet other people to travel with.
