  • Good WiFi and staff were nice. Bathrooms were unclean. Beds were horrifically uncomfortable. Rooms were very cramped. Lockers available was nice but locks didn't fit. Shortage of wall sockets. Shortage of bathrooms. One of our group waited an hour to use the bathroom because three rooms seemed to be using one bathroom.

  • The hostel is in the city centre of Galway, the room was dirty and I found some hairs in my (and in the others) bed. The shared bathroom wasn't very clean and you may have to wait on the stairs if it is occupied. Certainly I won't come back there.

  • Fire Escape Alarmed Door in the Main Common Shower/Toilets is a mystery! This door is NOT a Fire Escape as it appears to open against a bunkbed in Room 9 SWAMP. There should not be a Running Man Sign over this door UNLESS it is a clear safe escape route! No hot water in running taps in Common Toilets/Shower room. Shortage of electric sockets.Other smaller Toilet filthy over by window. Guests should have swipe card to enter hostel rather than having to ring and be restricted to 3am curfew FRI/SAT

  • The hostel is at the center of the city. The hostel has lockers to store your bags closed. The mattresses and pillows of the beds are a bit poor. The kitchen is complete

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
