It's a little bit difficult to find, the direction should mentioned that it has green door and on the right side of the street. Rizki Pandu, from Indonesia ~ 31st Jul 2009

This was a great place to stay! The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was clean, and it is in a great location. It gets a little noisy at night, but that's because it is primely located in downtown Venice! It was also really affordable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to do Venice on a budget. San Lio Tourist House was very nice. At the first moment we went to the direction is mentioned in the website and there’s nobody. The telephone rungs and we take it. San Lio receptionist says us what to. That’s a strange situation. There's a mini fridge. The room was very clean because every day women clean it. The situation is very good because it's next to Rialto Bridge. It’s a good place to stay! :)) Raquel, from Spain ~ 11th Feb 2009

This was more like a hotel than a hostel, with daily turndown service. The location is quite good and relatively easy to find - considering it is Venice (for first time Venice visitors, be prepared to be lost, it is part of the experience) - being a five minute walk away from a major bridge. The Super Spy routine to check in was a bit interesting (you had to chek in in another building) so for the less adventurous, I would advise arriving while it is still day time.
