Must pay 10 cents & have a key to use elevator & it is a long way up. Beds very creaky. Seemed a bit dirty (blankets, etc.), and something was leaking water in the bathroom. Typical Italian hostel run out of an old apartment, so it seems sketchy. However, location is good and it is a fine place to stay for just one night. Nothing special, but no horror stories either. It's an appartment in a normal house with other families. A small hallway with a bathroom on each side and a coffee machine and a microwave in the middle. So have no expectations. This Hostel is an Appartmenet transformed in a hostel. Not every room has a shower and toilet. Free Wi-Fi. The bathrooms weren't exactly clean. Situated close to the Colloseum, the location is excellent for visiting Rome, the way back from the clubs at night was a long one, because there is practically no public transport at night. There are lockers in the rooms, but no locks. Consider that you have to pay an additional tourist tax of about 1€ per person/night. Fabian, from Germany ~ 2nd Nov 2011
