One of the best hostel I've ever been too.
Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. The size of the hostel (about 30 beds) gives it a family-like atmosphere.
There's a kitchen where you can cook your own food, which is very valuable if you stay more than 2 days.

Perfect location! I don't think they make enough of this point - the metro runs direct from the airport to a stop about a minute away from the hostel! It's also close to La Rambla yet not right on it, so provides some quiet. I do have to say though it's not quite what i thought it would be, in that their website emphasises it NOT being a party hostel; we didn't get much sleep. Good for those who want to party - we stayed three nights, and the staff had things organised for each night - pub crawls/dinner out... but not so much for those who need a rest between the days of sightseeing and nights of over-dosing on tapas and indulging in delicious spanish wine. The beds are very comfortable though, the hostel clean. The kitchen is basically a hotplate, so don't consider self-catering! But with all that yummy food on your doorstep, why would you? The staff are nice enough, the night-duty guy a bit of a waste of space as he was out-of-it most of the time, so not much help and liked to listen to Pink Floyd at nightclub volume at 6am! I would recommend this place, but not if you're making your decision based on it's 'quiet, non-partying' self-proclaimed reputation. Stay there for the location.

Sant Jordi Barcelona was the best hostel I stayed in during my holiday in Spain. Linda, Hazel and the boys work very hard at ensuring each guest feels welcome and is comfortable at Sant Jordi, and also has all the information they need to see all the best bits of Barcelona. The hostel is well-equipped in terms of kitchen, bathroom internet and lounge facilities. And, Linda makes sure that the hostel is always immaculate. Thanks to Sant Jordi, I had my best experience of Spain in Barcelona!
